Story #15

Kirby

Kirby: This must have happened while I was still in school when I was about 14 years old in 1975 or 1976. Me, my brother and one of my friends were out at my ranch. We decided to take the long was back into town. It was going on toward evening. Our ranch is located east from Dulce. We were cruising in the pickup truck, talking, going up this hill. When we got over it, at the bottom of the hill we saw this light ball, a bright white ball, with little red and while lights going all around the bottom of it. On the side of this white ball were like two lights, maybe orange and yellow luminescent. It only stood there for a short while before it disappeared. It was at the bottom of the hill and our lights hit it as we came over the hill. We parked on the top of the hill for maybe 15 minutes, wondering if we should go down. My older brother was driving. My brother and my friend and I each described the same thing we were seeing – a big white light, little white and red lights turning round on the bottom. When we finally went down it was gone. We were really freaked out about it. There was no loss of time. When we got back home that night we didn’t really discuss it or talk about it. After that one night we did. My friend is decease now.
Question: Do you have any idea of how big this thing might have been?
Kirby: I’d say probably about the size of a truck. It’s hard to say.
